Elsie is big sister and beach buddy to Thatcher in my recent painting, Knee Deep. Panama City Beach is one of their favorite vacation destinations, though they are quite the travelers.
Elsie is a beautiful young lady, perhaps a future model??

Almost There

I am excited to have Almost There juried into the 2015 Montgomery Museum of Fine Art Show!  Held every other year, this event is highly competitive.  97 artworks were selected out of 437 submitted.  The exhibit will be on display at the museum from June 12 to August 9.

California Dreamin'

This Granddad was on a special outing with his granddaughters on a California beach.  

I can understand why California Impressionists loved to capture the effects of sunlight on water and sand.
