Tranquility

Sunset is a time of reflection and tranquility.  Each day we can see God's new creation of beauty and color.  This painting is for sale at The Flower Store in Auburn, Alabama.

For the first time color authority, Pantone Institute, announced not one, but two colors for the year 2016:  Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue.  (You'll be forgiven for calling them light pink and baby blue.)
Designers this year chose a palette that is peaceful and relaxing.  They can transport us to a happier sunnier place.  You will be seeing these colors in fabrics, interior design, and in my case...an oil painting of the end of day.

Red Rock Hills

The setting sun created a beautiful red glow on these mountains. Red Rock Hills is available at the Museum Shop at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art.  It is a wonderful place to purchase distinctive gift items created by exciting regional artisans. Their Cafe M offers a menu of fresh lunch options in a quaint cafe setting overlooking the lake and park.
