Dockside

I was fortunate to be able to go to the Forgotten Coast Plein Air event last year. Apalachicola is a quaint small southern town rich in history. Its colorful past maritime culture remains visible (and working) today.  We visited the riverfront at the end of the day and caught this scene of a majestic shrimp boat at rest after a busy day of fishing.  I loved how the setting sun lit up her hull.

Dockside  is available in the current show at Anne Irwin Fine Art in Atlanta.  Please contact staff@anneirwinfineart.com for more information.

Opening Night at Anne Irwin Fine Art

Friday was such a fun night!  I am shown here at the opening reception with Anne Irwin by my body of work in the gallery.  Many thanks for the hard work she and Emily West put into creating this lovely show.  They sold two of my pieces before the show began!

I appreciate family and friends who came out to join us.  It was great to meet new friends and artists, as well.  The show will run until September 3.  They will be replenishing the gallery with new pieces as sales occur, so new items will be available throughout the month. Please come back to see more beautiful artwork.

Swimming Lessons is my oil painting of a Mama Wood Duck teaching her babies to swim.  SOLD

Oyster Bay

Are you sad that summer is ending?  Come check out the art world in Atlanta.  Anne Irwin Fine Art has selected 25 emerging artists and created a wonderful show displaying their talents.  I am one of these lucky artists!  The show runs from August 12 to September 3.

Oyster Bay is one of my four paintings that will be on display.  For info on this piece, please contact AIFA at staff@anneirwinfineart.com.
