I was fortunate to be able to go to the Forgotten Coast Plein Air event last year. Apalachicola is a quaint small southern town rich in history. Its colorful past maritime culture remains visible (and working) today.  We visited the riverfront at the end of the day and caught this scene of a majestic shrimp boat at rest after a busy day of fishing.  I loved how the setting sun lit up her hull.

Dockside  is available in the current show at Anne Irwin Fine Art in Atlanta.  Please contact for more information.
