This is painting is from a photograph a friend of mine took on her trip to Melbourne, Florida last spring.   I enjoy painting vacation memories.  I appreciate her allowing me to paint it!

California Dreamin'

This Granddad was on a special outing with his granddaughters on a California beach.  

I can understand why California Impressionists loved to capture the effects of sunlight on water and sand.
